Bo Holland
Founder & CEO
Bo Holland has spent 30 years building software companies that solve hard identity and security problems. He helped take Citrix and Pervasive Software public, founded Works and led it through its acquisition by Bank of America, and in 2004 founded AllClear ID to help businesses protect their customers’ identities after data breaches.
Under his leadership, AllClear ID became the global leader in data breach response, protecting more than 200 million individuals for organizations including Anthem Blue Cross, Home Depot, and Sony. AllClear ID's breach business was acquired by Experian in 2019.
That foundation led to a bigger test: building the digital identity infrastructure for Open Banking. Starting in 2015, Holland and his team developed secure mobile Digital Bank IDs deployed across Europe, scaling to more than one billion transactions annually with no scalable fraud or identity theft. That work proved that shifting data control and consent from institutions to individuals was not only possible, it has unlocked innovation in powerful ways.
Health Bank One grew from that proof and from something more personal. Navigating his son's cancer treatment, Holland saw firsthand how barriers between patients and their own medical information slow care and limit options. He founded Health Bank One to apply the same identity model that transformed financial services to healthcare, giving patients a secure, reusable health ID that puts them in control of their data.
